The Cold is coming

It has been quite cold for the last two days but is supposed to get colder yet. We even have snow in the forecast. As long as I don't have to drive in snow I don't mind it because it's nice and warm in the house.
This morning I helped Cliff bring the wood down from the woodshed in the back. The walk there was frosted up and I slipped quite a bit. That is a feeling I don't like. My knees have been bothering me and I don't want to have a fall.
I went shopping and had another look at the Christmas Scene at Country Grocer here in Cobble Hill. The lady who does all of that by herself started at Remembrance Day. That is a long time working but it sure looks fantastic.
We had two great phone conversations with Sonja. It is a great way to keep up with each other's lives.
Those were the highlights of the last two days. That and hearing that Cliff's sister and husband  arrived safely in Brentwood Bay for their stay of one month there. It is great to have them close by. Hopefully we'll see lots of them.
I will now sit by the fire and read some more.
