Yes, we finally got the snow that was forecast. There are a few inches on the road already but it is supposed to rain tomorrow so I hope it will all melt away.
We went to Duncan this afternoon to visit a friend who is in extended care for a little while. We took advantage of that trip and dropped in to Canadian Tire to get some motor oil. The store was pretty busy but not as much as I thought it would be. I guess the downturn in the economy has hit a lot of people pretty hard.
On the way back from town the roads started to get pretty slick and I was glad when we parked the car in the garage. Just as we started to turn into our road the car began to slide a bit and instead of turning Cliff decided he better go straight and turn around later on which we did. All is well that ends well.
It was so nice to get back, sit by the fire and sip Eggnog while watching the News.

Egg nog is probably my favorite all time drink & for that very reason I have to stay away from it. One sip of egg nog & I can't stop until it's all gone!!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like we're in for just a bit of snow overnight, but the forecast looks to be for quite warm weather for the rest of the week, so that will get rid of this white stuff!
